Daniel Otykier is the creator and CTO of Tabular Editor and a Microsoft Data Platform MVP. With a background as Principal Business Analytics Architect, he initially developed the open-source version of Tabular Editor, Tabular Editor 2, out of frustration over the limited modeling possibilities in the existing BI tools. Few years later, the new and improved Tabular Editor 3 was launched.
Today, he’s in charge of ensuring that we continue to offer the best possible solution to our users by working his coding magic, while also leading our skilled team of core developers. When he’s not juggling a ton of things at work, Daniel is all about family and prioritizes spending as much time as possible with his wife and their four children.
